The UK government is increasing the rates of statutory pay for family leave (effective 2 April 2023) and sick pay (effective 6 April 2023).
The following weekly rates of statutory pay are expected to apply:
- Statutory maternity pay (SMP), paternity pay (SPP), adoption pay (SAP), and shared parental pay (ShPP) weekly rates will increase from GBP 156.66 to GBP 172.48.
- Statutory sick pay (SSP) weekly rate will increase from GBP 99.35 to GBP109.40.
